I'd forgotten what it's like to have a new PC
Even though I live on my PC, I'm one to put off and put off upgrading hardware or buying a new desktop because of the transition time involved. Well this has been the easiest one yet.
Went from a Compaq Evo 1.7Ghz 512Mb Ram (purchased in 2001) to a New Dell XPS600 3.8Ghz 2GB Ram. Pulled the Dell out of the boxes last night, ran my install files for programs I use most often and I'm up and working on it today. Only think I don't like so far is their mouse software won't let me set the wheel button to do anything but scroll. Tried installing Mouseware but it didn't take. I'm used to using the mouse wheel button as a browser back button. |
Nice... I'm looking at getting the XPS also.
Yeah using the wheel as browser back is awesome |
Yeah I actually got a XPS desktop pretty recently its amazing.

I love the smell of new PC's
It gets me horney |

I liike my 5 botton m$ optical. One of their first versions. Buttons on the left and right for back and forward.
|
heh, now you need to upgrade to a better borwser, they come with mouse gestures, you don't need to use the wheel button as a browser back button ;)
|
Congrats! The strange thing is that as soon as I bought Wacom tablet and started using its pen, I stopped using a mouse at all.
