Best mainstream web designers?
 

I need a designer for a mainstream corporate site. I do not want to spend
more than US$1,000. Who does the best work for this kind of money?

I will look for a thread here, but do a search there was recent threads about some good mainstream designers.

Yes, the well-known mainstream design companies charge BIG bucks.

But there are plenty of freelancers and smaller firms, including offshore,
who are perfectly happy with $1,000 for a simple corporate site.

And for the record, YES I will pay more if necessary to get the result that I am looking for. But for this project I can not justify paying the stratospheric fees charged by some mainstream design firms.
