I probably wouldn't. You can always make it back to vegas for a show. Your going to university for a reason and missing the first 3 days might suck.

Yes for the following reasons:

1) I just graduated and went thru the same thing 3 years in a row. You will not miss anything of relevence the first day or two days. :thumbsup

2) Most classes aren't everyday, so you will either miss a wed & fri class or a thurs class. If you know the game you shouldn't be having classes on friday. :warning

As a fourth year college student let me just say that I generally think you can afford to miss the first few weeks with no issues, so a few days I wouldn't even think about it.

First 2 weeks people dont do shit,,, Everyone is still trying to ADD or DROP classes... nothing gets done till 3rd week... so ur cool to miss them.. :thumbsup

I'd say go for it (Vegas that is) you'll have the next years to get your education can't see how a couple of days will make any difference.

Unless you have courses to drop or add, the first few days are no big deal.

If you know your profs. ahead of time let them know that extenuating circumstances keep you from attending the first three days of class.

Chances are you'll only miss one or two of each class because of m,w,f-t,th scheduling if that's how it works by you.

The first week is normally a lot of fucking arround.

You know, my very first show overlapped with when I was in school. I ended up going to Internext and skipped day 3 of the show. It was well worth it, the contacts I made were worth more than the value of my degree.

Gee, I'd rather graduate college and make 7 figures with a law degree from a good school, than dedicate my life to the computer, porn, and a low class industry. But that's just me.

OH not to mention that you're going to University because you don't want to be doing this your whole life, so it's all about your priorities....Also, a lot of schools, like mine, have a rule where they drop you if you miss the first day of class.

There are a few days that are important in Univ, the first week, the last week, and the exams. If you really want to go to Univ, do it, skip Vegas.

Vegas. Easy question. 3 days is nothing, you'll eventually miss like 3 days later on through the semester anyways - been there done that.

Sure, you can miss 99% of all Univ days, but you'll need the first week to network.

Well it's his priority. Even making 100 grand extra just by going these 3 days doesn't mean shit in life. It's his decision what he wants to be doing with the rest of his life.

Hmmm... I went to school, got my degree in Economics, worked as a financial advisor for 7 years - then discovered that this was a MUCH better industry to be in. Maybe Im regressing, but I can tell you with assurity - you would rather be doing this than a 9 to 5'r.

I always skipped the first week of classes and came in the next week with "well, I was going to drop this and pick up another class, but this class looks too good to skip out on" and that was usually enough. Did that every semester for nearly 7 years. Works fine... :winkwink:

That's good and all but how many times do I have to say that porn is a low class career/job/hobby. I would never go to one of these shows nor associate with the people. But that's for me, maybe you guys enjoy this. I will be much happier with a REAL career such as law, than ever having to deal with this crap. But to each his own.

As a 5 year college student, I say

"Skip those mother fuckin classes!"

Unless you graduate from harvard with honors you won't make even close to 7 figures. But even then, it's not really all about the money, once you get used to the freedom of working for yourself, a thought of getting a "real" 8-5 job won't even cross your mind.

I just made my uni schedule, and it appears as if I only have clsases tuesday and thursday.

THIS MEANS I will only miss 1 day of classes! (only 2 classes in that day)

3 days ? the show is in the weekend, it's starts a week after the news years. You can fly back on sunday and be in time for monday's class.
