look at all the time and talent put into another logo contest started by a scammer at worst an idiot at best. anybody who uses GFY to screw over other GFYers should be listed at the top of GFY in a hall of shame.

well in image contests simple solution would be to water mark the image with a transparent text pasted all over it, Unusable theoretically and if the person wins he can give the original PSD once prize is worked over..

that's completely fucked, 10 people entered with some very nice designs, each probably wasted a few hours each, and the scamming loser has the balls to continue posting on gfy... unbelivable...

The designers that submitted samples are a little bit responsible for this.

If I were a designer I would have walked away after the first 5 words of Dooglas's contest (quoted above). I still don't understand why people so openly give out free design samples or conceptual renderings without a contract or some sort of upfront payment.

And I didn't really mean that the designers were responsible as in they were a part of it. I meant that they fed into it and this jackass got a free logo design.
