psili 12-23-2005 12:39 PM

Hope the music doesn't come back, but the slutty "I'm a virgin" Madonna look with crimped hair would work for me.

Babagirls 12-23-2005 12:39 PM

Madonna is already brining back the 80's with her new album (which is #1 in damn near every country).

remember back in the day how ladies wore their jeans tucked into knee lenghth heel boots? thats back too. the naturally wavy hair is back in style too (not straight hair anymore) which is also 80's

they're bacccccccccckkkkkkkkk!!!!!!! :thumbsup

~Ray 12-23-2005 12:40 PM

SykkBoy 12-23-2005 12:41 PM

In my household, 80's Hair Metal never really went away...

You 80's hairband freaks should make it a point to download some Helix, good old Canadian metal.

Band history

Grab these songs:
"Screaming in the night"
"Stayed awake all night"
They did a nice cover of A Foot in Cold Water,
the song "Make me do (anything you want)"

Great stuff.

Man I hope so - People always look at me funny at the stop lights with me blaring my Warrent CD

Mr. Jim 12-23-2005 01:35 PM

Some people have attended my jam sessions in the past....

In 2006 I will be playing some limited engagements in the L.A. area most likely the Whiskey a Go Go and an accoustic gig at White Lotus on a Sunday....I do mostly 80's and some 90's stuff

I am not kidding when I say yo uare dead on with this... The Susnset strip is prime for a live music metal revival it may not be the same as it was in the 80's just like the 80's was not like it was in the 60's... but it is coming....

I have this car being restored as we speak ...seriously... whats the use in getting the band back together without the old 6.6... it should be done by fall or early Winter

I love 80's music, 80's hair, and 80's clothes.

That about sums it up. :winkwink:

CDSmith 12-23-2005 01:49 PM

Shit, a couple of those songs I mentioned above were actually Krokus tunes.

Both Helix and Krokus.... awesome bands, great tunes.

Krokus did "Screaming in the night" and "Stayed awake all night"

Helix's marquee tunes include:
Does A Fool Ever Learn
Heavy metal love
Rock you
Deep Cuts The Knife
Wild in the streets
