if Santa could give you ONE non-adult mainstream Internet property which would it be? It CAN'T be a search engine like Google/Yahoo etc or a retail site like Amazon.

MySpace, probably. Lots of room for improvement and possibilities for expansion, and it already is a killer app.

If Wikipedia wasn't a non-profit org, I'd want that.

good one - that is going to be a monster - part of everybody's life the way Google is now.

They may run into financial trouble quite soon though. If they keep growing the way they are growing now (which, admittedly, is impossible), they'll have a billion dollar in annual hardware costs in 2009.

Right now, they're the #34 website according to Alexa, and they're continuing to grow extremely rapidly. I don't think it will be possible to maintain such growth on just donations.
