Going to see it later in the week...

tony286 12-25-2005 06:41 PM

I saw it Friday, I found the effects to be oh my god but the movie itself was too long and didn't seem to have a rhythm.

Bluewire Ross 12-25-2005 06:43 PM

great movie....worth watching!

Scott McD 12-25-2005 06:53 PM

I'm going to see it next week...

sniperwolf 12-25-2005 07:44 PM

never got the chance to see it though i had my tickets last week.. it got wasted... will check on it later this week!

Bansheelinks 12-25-2005 10:00 PM

It kicked major ass. The fight with the T-rexes was the best action sequence ever put to film, hands down. And the last half hour was just fucking brilliant.

Big :thumbsup

Just Mike 12-26-2005 12:17 AM

I fell asleep for about 20 minutes, there was too many bullshit effects. Other half liked it though.

Tricksy 12-26-2005 06:32 AM

Vitasoy 12-26-2005 02:50 PM

Just saw it again......

Just saw it again, this time with some family members. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Loved it even more this time than the first which is the true test of a great movie. Don't deprive yourself of seeing this movie in the theater. Peter Jackson just seems to be playing in a league of his own when it comes to these action adventure epics. Wow!

webcrawler 12-26-2005 09:37 PM

Its a good one though i wasn't able to finish it. I had to leave on the part kingkong was transported to the city. Looking forward watching it again on dvd.

Thats too bad. That last half hour was especially brilliant. Lotsa women had the kleenex and hankies out, I noticed.

So you go to the theatre and see it alone. Then let her. Of course, that's not the ideal situation but it's better than not seeing it on the big screen at all.

Yeah, don't miss this one. I don't think I've ever seen an action adventure flick like this with as much heart. And the CGI, although spotty only once or twice because of the sheer volume of CGI in the movie, is simply mind blowing. One begins to take it for granted after awhile, just how good it is and how woven it is into the story. Like I said before, Jackson is clearly just in a different league than anyone else when it comes to this.

reed_4 12-26-2005 11:33 PM

I saw that movie too and I would agree it is one of the best movie this year.

nico-t 12-26-2005 11:39 PM

Yep, but the first 30 - 45 minutes of the movie moves so slooowly.

The Captain 12-27-2005 12:00 AM

To long it, 2 hours into it I was like kill kong already so this can end...

I was rather underwhelmed by Chronicles of Narnia.......kinda disappointed. I was told going in not to expect a LOTR movie, and its true, what you get is kinda LOTR-Lite-Lite.......more for kids.

King Kong? Now THAT is the shit!!! Brilliant movie!! Seen it twice and liked it even way better the second time, which for me, is the movie's true test of greatness. A great entertainment.

I agree. Go to King Kong and that'll take the bad taste from Narnia out of your mouth. I promise.
