What mobile phone allows me to record calls without beeping etc?

My nokia has recording software but theres a build in beep evrry 5 seconds
when recording outgoing calls..

Is there a phone that allows recording of full conversations and able to export the sound files?

without the beep you are breaking federal law.
even if your name is George Bush.

I dont think its legal even with the beep. I think you actually have to tell someone you are recording them..

and the patriot act is still valid i think ,so gwb can record you without the beeps all day long.

Just wondering: how do radio stations get away with prank calls ?

Pipecrew 12-26-2005 08:03 PM

Simple...they always ask afterwards or they just break the law. Crank Yankers calls out of Las Vegas where it is legal...or you call a business that says this call may be monitored for training purposes or whatever they say.

It's legal here in Ohio as long as you are part of the conversation, but I don't know of any phone that can do it without the beep. We just use tiny mics that mount on the phone body, works everytime.

Actually If i remember right the VTac's from Verizon would do it, but I don't know if they even make those anymore.

The beep is implied as telling you the call is being recorded.

Motorola I95cl through Nextel. One of the few phones that records both ends of a conversation with no beep. Records conversations up to 2 hours.

it's true...
altho it doesnt record the person on the other line's voice direct, it records using a secondary mic inside the phone somewhere, but wherever it is located you can totally hear the callee's voice almost as if it were direct...
