which programs do you use to protect and maintain your computer?
 

for the past few years i've been using these programs to protect and maintain my computer:

1) norton system works (used for anti-virus, disk defragmenter, registry clean, internet file cleanup)

2) zonealarm pro (used for a firewall)

3) microsoft anti-spyware (just started using for spyware)

are there any better programs then the ones listed above to protect and maintain my computer? i won't be using norton system works anymore so i'm looking for other alternatives for an anti-virus, disk defragmenter and registry cleaner. also looking for a better firewall program if any.

I wrapped my computer in smoked bacon and it just tastes great

1. FireFox
2. TrendMicro for Firewall, Antivirus, antispyware, spamblock.
3. ad-aware as a back up
4. spybot search and destroy as a back up.
both backs ups are because no spyware catches everything.

fuck all norton programs except Ghost. They are all worthless and pieces of shit.

Haven't had any trouble for about 1.5 years now.
Apart from with the installment of that fucking Pinnacle Studio!
That fucker would not uninstal!
