Experiences with Leaseweb hosting?
I'm planing to move my server (100mbit connection) to a new hoster, formerly in the US, will be now in Europe. My tech guy has a good offer with Leaseweb...I searched on gfy and couldn't find anything bad about them?
Do you guys know who hosts with them? And where's the advantage of being hosted in the EU anyways? Is the speed to US traffic as high as a server in the US itself? |
That depends on where your target market is. The US has overall better facilities from what I've observed. ICQ me or email [email protected], we can probably beat their offer in price, and without any doubt in quality of service.

Moved my site from Sagonet to Leaseweb a few months ago. Result: no more trouble. I'm so far really happy with them, and I haven't seen any drop in US traffic or signups.

In some countries outside the US. the connections to the backbone is faster than anywhere in the US. But inly a few. Let us know how well this works for you.

leaseweb.nl is NOT good
I repeat leaseweb.nl is NOT good do a search on them on http://www.webhostingtalk.nl I can give you better offers on servers trough http://www.switchbox.net/ we have many servers there, know the owners personally , good service, have also referred many clients to there, very fast support , better deals and better machines give me your ICQ if you want to work something out |
We use them quite a bit with no problems. However do NOT expect fast support if you have any issues, they are slow to respond and charge a high rate for support.
