Hosting For .30 cents per Gig

Hi,

Does anyone know these guys ?

http://hosting.colo.fm/

prices KICK ASS !

Za Ha 04-04-2002 07:51 PM

Are you gonna open a free host?

sasush 04-04-2002 07:56 PM

no

cyberzen 04-04-2002 08:01 PM

Yea their proces kick ass, but the speed I got from them was pathetic. I signed up for their xtreme200 virtual package, and got horrible speed.

Couldn't get my galleries or sites listed at most places cause they were declined as being too slow to load. So I wouldn't recommend them.

If you want a fast and reliable host I suggest http://datahosters.com

Been with them for a few months and am totally satisfied with support and speed. Toker is an all around stand up act!!

oh jeez too bad datahosters dont take paypal ... id be forced to switch:thumbsup :thumbsup

cyberzen 04-04-2002 08:36 PM

Jesus you're complaining over $0.70 per gig?? I don't think you could find cheaper bandwith prices for such reliable hosting, true you could probably find cheaper than $0.30 per gig but chances are you'd have some horrible nightmare for support or downtime.

Just my 2 cents

does datahosters setup your account right away or do you have to wait?

cyberzen 04-04-2002 09:24 PM

My account was setup pretty quick, I can't remember the exact time frame but it was if I remember correctly less than 30 mins, definetly within the same day tho.

But then again I cannot comment on server availability, so you should probably shoot a question to their support rep.

QWEST BANDWIDTH - TIER 1 - 160 PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PEERS

Fast as hell.

If you want .10 a gig I'll give it to you but your going to be on my Cable modem.

If you want your webpage to load faster than you saying "thumbserver" then your going to pay a little more.

You get what you pay for. If you want Tier1 Redundant connectivity then pay the extra money. If you want a single cogent connection then your going to be hosting at BLAH.FM.

You can either drive the Ferrari or ride the bus it's your choice. < damn that was good.

sasush 04-05-2002 05:23 PM

Jamie, good post

i'll think i get hosting from http://hosting.likewhoa.com/

for .75 cents per gig
