LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Capping one of pop music's biggest comebacks, Mariah Carey has overtaken rap star 50 Cent in a year-end battle to claim the hottest-selling album of 2005.

Mariah is one of my favourite singers/artists, I love her and think she's really talented, she writes a lot of songs too. Mariah had her first hit when I was in high school and I already liked her back then and she's still going strong over 10 years later, she's a legend for sure.
