Help Tweaking FIREFOX
 

Hey guys... I'm running Firefox on a monster system (Dual Xeon 3.4mhz, 2gig ram, etc) but I have pinpointed that Firefox is slowing my system down.

I look at system resources and see that Firefox is pull like 40-60 of the CPU...

I do keep alot of Windows open...sure...but there has got to be a way to make it all run better?

My system is just sluggish at times and I truly believe it is Firefox.

So...Before I say GO FUCK YOUR FIREFOX, I decide to come to the Master (GFY) and ask for help!

Make sure you are using the newest version of firefox (it was updated recently), same probably with flash and java...

Yeah - Java released an update in the last few days - It has helped my system a bit.

its the newest Firefox 1.5. I have been using it for quite some time now and its loading very fine
