Semi-N00B question - XFerring domains ((PIC))
 

I have a domain expiring in 15 days and I want to transfer it from company A to company B... whats the fastest, easiest way to do this?

change whois info and give them the password?

you might not be able to if it expires in 15 days. xfers can't be done by some registrars within a certian number of days before it expires or after it was rigistered.

renew the domain then xfer it out.

no, prob, i saw that too.

here is what i found.

"ICANN regulations prohibit transferring a domain name that has been registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days."

We can move over the name to Moniker.com with no problem.
