PayPal is great. Just because they have strict buyer AND seller protection policies, people hate them. With companies like IBill, I would have chargebacks sometimes approaching 15% per month. Since using PayPal, I have had 1 chargeback in over a year. Can't beat that! PayPal RULES!

I have heard that 'honestA' makes a trade with 'dishonestB' and if there is fraud or something, sometimes honestA gets his account frozen as well.

I've never used paypal but enough people I know have reported problems, or know of honest people being screwed.

Imagine your account is frozen for some reason and you can't get any answers?
fuck paypal - I wouldn't use it.

I can only say: motherfucking sons of a bithches! They restricted my account out of the blue, without any explaination. When asking them why I only got their fucking autoresponder back.

They said I have to fax them an ID, my phone bills and my CC statement. They can shove all that up theirs! Did you ever had to show all that when you were outside shopping?

Fucking guess who won't be dealing with them anymore! I used them for paying for my ad campaigns. Cuz they restricted me I had to wire the money and because that takes some days (and it's weekend now) I am now losing money cuz of them. Because I cannot rest assured that this won't happen again in the future I DUMPED THEM!

Only good thing about my case was I only used them to send money so I didn't have any in their account. What a bunch of losers.

Today you may be rocking with your chargebacks but tomorrow there can be a surprise wating for you there. Ya ya you'll just take all the money you got and transfer it elsewhere, soon you get it and be safe, right? Sure, that gets you restricted even faster. It looks suspicious to them and WHAM!

They don't suspend an account for absolutely no reason at all. I got a $3K payment into my paypal account about a month back and transferred it to my own checking account. PayPal actually called me to make sure everything was okay with the transaction. When I explained the circumstances, they actually waived the fees for the transaction since they had "bothered" me with the phonecall. Sorry you had bad luck, but again they don't suspend an account just to be funny. Something must have caught their attention.

I'm curious what kind of dissatisfactory product or service you are selling, or what kind of crap market you are selling to, that would induce a 15% chargeback rate. I have a pay site at http://www.girlsdotcom.com which has virtually no chargebacks. Maybe it's 'cause I use GloBill.

However, I also sell hard goods (How to Recruit Models and other booklets) and in six years have never had a chargeback, even though I handle all transactions myself and have my own merchant account.
