Why doesn't the Goverment Cut taxes by 50% for everyone
if they lowered there taxes by 50% the rich would bring there money back into the states. which would increase jobs and fuel the economy. We get taxed like 40% now make it 20% and i bet more money would magically appear. let them bring there money back to invest in the states
otherwise companies will continue to move jobs offshore and the rich will hoard there money offshore It just seems like a simple solution |
Why everyone? I think just pure blooded white males would suffice
|
Why? Because our president took us from the largest surplus to the largest deficit in history..... :disgust
|
We have always had the deficite, at least after Lincoln. But the govenrment would never do that. too many hands in that pot.
|
america != cuba
|
we actually need a 50% increase to pay for all the entitlement programs.
|
I think you're right. Think about it, an estimated $13 trillion is outside of the economy hidden overseas by large corportations and high paid professionals. Not billion, trillion.
|
i think they should be jacked up.

Exactly the gov should have to budget what they spend. the rich are getting richer which is about 1% of the population fuck dual incomes your going to have to send your kids to work to make ends meet if your middle class. this might sound crazy but there should be a cap on how much you can make like 500 mil a year why does one person or even family need more then that. we also need to cut back on Gov. alot bring back the troops and get rid of the military, cut nasa contracts etc. fuck it completely restructure. time to focus on our country and educate the kids to improve what we have now because its all falling apart and our leader dont give a fuck because they have never had to worry about money. the way i see it is there is enough money in this world to feed all the starving children and educate them till they can fend for themselves. |
trickle down doesnt work, if your rich you put the extra money in the bank. The company my father works for saw records profits what did they cut people. Everyone in this fortune 10 company does 3 jobs for one salary.

Once in awhile their is a hiccup or the whole thing falls apart and we build anew. |
Because the country would go bankrupt so quick
|
Cut the military? :1orglaugh
|
A complete restructuring would take an armed revolution. Seriously.
|
because then goverment wouldn't have money to spend, so it would print money which would result in huge inflation... and at the end of the day, nothing would be gained, you would get 50% less taxes, but each dollar you would make would be worth half as much...
|
governments dont turn back things where they are earning a quick huge ass buck on.. Around here theyve put a "temporary" quarter on top of the gas price like 10 years ago. They never turned it back. Every time when it comes to discussion it gets silenced to death or backed up with weak ass arguments. Money hungry assholes who try to pull every penny out of its civilians ass with an increasing trend. It will never go down.
What they do is pull of 1% of one thing and plus the other with 10%. Or plus one thing with 10% and pull of 1% of that same thing a year later, acting like they do everyone a favor.. theyre 'legal' filthy fucking thiefs. |
because half of nothing leaves nothing!

Bush needs to try throwing some money at your deficit, and raising the valute of the US dollar on the world market. I think you are out of touch with reality. |

Roger - I can't even begin to argue with you on the importance of military. If you don't get it you don't get it so try not to sound like you know what you're talking about when you obviously don't. The USA is the largest superpower in the world. Get rid of the army and all of a sudden you've opened the gates to Rome. Who do you think will storm it and rape/murder/pillage? The Gauls. Do you think if the Romans ask nicely after hundreds of years of raping and murdering the Gauls they will give them a break and leave the gates and allow them to go back to business as usual?
Think. |
I think its irrelevant what the United States does. More countries are experiencing economic freedom and political stability (more or less.) The US had this monopoly for 100 years. Read up on economics and forget all the political bullshit you are being fed 24/7 on tv and radio.

Its not like it was where you killed with a sword or maybe even a bullet, one bomb now can blow up 1000's of people without physical contact How many people are in asia versus America? lets try to fuck with them LOL |

They are incredible at brainwashing. I agree with everything you said Roger.
The tax structure needs to be changed. A lower flat tax is in order. We may see this in the coming years. Nasa should be revamped. How is it that Branson & Allen can figure out how to get people to the moon without spending a hundred million yet Nasa can't even do it for a Billion within 5 years? The Military is overfunded and overstaffed by at least 60%. I don't see how foot soldiers are relevant in the 21st century. Government is no longer effective at it's current size. Actually government is no longer effective. Period. |
The US has the legal and ideological and cultural infrastructure to do this. All it needs is the political will. The same neo-liberal economic policies may help the country I reside in--The Philippines. Unfortunately, 'economic reform' here is interpreted as raising taxes. The exact opposite of what needs to be done :(
