Is it still possible? Don't tell me how thats not what im askin.. i just wanna know what methods.. i dunno why bc i wont spam mah sites in any way i just wanna learn what kinda shit went on before i got into the industry..

It was pretty common back in 1997 - 1998, I think it still is possible though differently.

It is still possible now days. There are some forums which talk just about SE spamming.

Search engine spamming still goes on although to a much smaller degree than a few years back. These days there are fewer search engines, they index less regularly, their anti-spam algorithims are better, and most importantly a lot of are pay-for-listing.
