"According to legislation passed by the Knesset last week, beginning in 2006, a newly-established authority will now be responsible for promoting all aspects of culture, tourism and external contacts for the city of Jerusalem. The authority will also be responsible for coordinating between the various government ministries, providing information, and advising other Jerusalem-based organizations and institutions that deal with these matters...more cool. i was all set to go to telaviv, back in 1990, with my friends, gil, roni, efrat and doron, but the trip was cancelled at the last minute., which was a blessing at the time. but, i'd love visit this year, and wail a bit. |
With Israel rattling its sabre at Iran claiming they are going to open up a can of whoopass on them in March, I think you might want to hold off on your trip, or get moving before March.

I meant more along the lines of consideration for your personal safety. You can't walk through life worrying about everything that *might* happen, but at the same time if a place is going to turn into a warzone, its not the best place to be.
After Iran's comments about Israel needing to be wiped off the face of the earth I can't blame Israel for what they plan to do. Iran made it very clear what they would do if they had the ability. Now is the time to nip that problem in the bud. |
You should stay away ( too bad, because it must be amazing to visit):
