Sell And Buy Forum

Ebay

candyflip 01-02-2006 08:14 AM

$300 would be a fair price. They're selling used Value Pack PSPs at EB games for $200, and $30 a pop for the games. The movies are like used DVDs, they might give you $10 if you're lucky.

JimmyG 01-02-2006 08:18 AM

I was wanting $250 for the entire package. If interested just ICQ me

Wow...if I didn't have one and another on the way, I'd jump all over this.

If anyone has been wanting a PSP, this is a steal.

evildick 01-02-2006 08:59 AM

Where are you located? Do you know what version firmware it has?

I was finally going to give in and buy one last week at Best Buy because they had brand new ones for $50 off, but when I got to the store I found out that each store only had 5 at that price, so it was a nice bait and switch.

Hit me on ICQ :)

If you can get $250+ for it at EB Games like that, why not just go there and sell it instead ? Easier than dealing with anyone online (collection, shipping, etc) probably.

EB is selling the units for $199 used, which means that they're probably only offering $150 in store credit and $125 in cash.

He won't come close to $250 taking it there.

The games stores are bascially still alive and kicking because of the used game market. They make almost nothing on new games...which is why they're always pushing the used copy for $5 less, that they just 10 minutes earlier probably paid $15 for.

JimmyG 01-02-2006 09:46 AM

I'd prefer to just sell it on GFY. ebay takes too long and I really don't need it. Its bad ass, just not much for playing games. No time.

Jump on it man, if it's still available. Look at the games and movie as a bonus.

Socom and Liberty Cities are great. I can't wait for my new PSP to show up, as I'm having a hard time getting it out of my girl's kid's hands.

JimmyG 01-02-2006 10:22 AM

From the PSP Hardware FAQs on GameFaqs.com

Q. I'm in the UK, if I import a Japanese/American PSP, what do I need to
charge it?

A. Step Down converters that convert the 240v UK power supply to an 110v
US/Japanese supply are easily available from many electrical suppliers such
as Maplin Electronics (www.maplin.co.uk), however there is an easier solution.

The PSP power supply has a small "block" that takes a "figure of eight" power
cable, the same as the PS2, Xbox and many small appliances such as DVD players.
Simply plug one of these cables into the PSP's power supply and your problem is
solved. This solution should also work for other countries that use a 240v
system.

WARNING: Before attempting this, ensure that the power supply for your PSP is
marked "110 - 240V".
