Ok, who all here does NOT play poker either online or in person? Is PokerParty the new MySpace? Or what's going on that I'm completely missing the boat for?

Poker really exploded about 2 years ago, I don't really know anybody who doesn't play now.

I don't play poker...It's too boring for me

i can't stand card games

I hate all card games. I guess it goes back to the bickering I endured with family get togethers, it got worse when the cards came out.

The idea of playing online bores me to tears.

I don't have time to find a game in Toronto. Like to hear from anyone with a seat available.

I was looking to go to Biloxi this winter; poker is great in the casinos there.... Next year.

I like card games but never played poker. Might try that sometime...

I hate poker, I don't like any card games AT ALL, I just really hate it.

I don't want any more vices, I avoid poker :)

I never got into poker. I do know some people who blow TONS of money playing online poker. It's ridiculous.

I am really hooked these days! I got a poker set for chrismas! chips and pokertable!

Poker is a great game. It's as much about skill and patience as it is about luck and timing.

I started playing Hold 'em a bit over a year and a half ago, but I grew up kind of a gambler.
Been playing poker in home games for years. Mainly 7 card stud, 5 card draw.
when I was 12 I asked for a calculator that had a black jack game..this was back in '78 so it was a really expensive gift for a 12 year old but my dad got it for me.

I figured out my own blackjack system back then which I found out later on in life it wasn't anything earth shattering, just optimal play. But I can sit down and play for hours on the same money or leave a winner. have not left a bj table in years a loser.

My grandfather taught me how to shoot craps the year before that...so yeah I've been a gambler for a good part of my life.

However I know that pit games are overall losing games, so I only play poker now.

Pokers cool but Pai Gow is where it's at. And a lot less intimidating. I'll show you the ropes. :)

I dont play online but I do go out to a local $50 buy in game once a week.
it's fun and gets me away from the pc for a night.

YARGH! I only gamble on Squid Gizzards. Pretty good chance you'll be dead eaten 'em, but it be worth the risk. They be tastier than a clam fart!

I stopped because to many other people started. It is not that i created poker or that i got in in the beginning, it is just that when something starts coming on tv in heavy rotation and everyone and their mom jumps in, that is when I stop, it really ruins the fun. What can I say, I like things to be exclusive and serious not widespread.
