According to this yahoo news article the planets will be sharper in 2006.

You all don't understand. The planets don't really exist. We actually live in a large box that was created by the government. The box has a spherical wall that shows the stars and planets on it with a large LCD display on the outside.

The only reason the planets are clearer is because they recently washed the glass walls of our planetary cage!
