im not really into drugs these days... i did my fair share back in the day... but after seeing lots of bad shit, and being in a few scrapes that had me wishing i was home in bed, lol, i pretty much quit doing most drugs.... i guess im getting older and more wise, lol...

it would probably be more correct to say i will only do drugs that grow naturally, as opposed to just about anything manmade these days, lol.

which brings me to the reason for my post...

psilocybe mushrooms!!!!! aka magic mushrooms!!!!!! (hard to get around here though, most folks from my city are into crack, herion, meth, all that bullshit..."nice city huh??lol" I wont touch that shit, and wont associate with anyone who does... not much demand for good ole fashioned "shrooms" where i am from)

now THERE is a mind altering substance ya can talk me into doin' lol...

I have done them and I liked them..but I dont like to have that out of control feeling anymore. I have to be a bit responsible in my old age...give me a bong hit any day of the week.

true, i will only do em about once or twice a year these days... (that is about the extent of my drug use, lol) and i will only do em when i have no other responsibilities that i might have to tend to while on them.

I recommend not doing ANY hallucinogens. They are the most hardcore drugs on the planet, and NOTHING comes close in terms of potency. Don't do it.

I admit I'm a square, I've never tried any drugs in my life at all, not even pot.
I don't smoke, and don't drink, except sometimes I like to cook pasta with white wine or make some red wine dishes, and I drink once in awhile like at NewYears.

I would never spend money on drugs or alcohol. I would rather waste it on material goods like clothes, makeup, car, things that are actually tangible.
I don't like to spend money on "untageable" (if that's a word) things, I like to buy actual things and have something to show for it.

Whenever I wanna throw away money I just buy clothes and makeup, at least that way I have something to show for it and it helps me look better, I don't see the point of wasting money on drugs. I already get "high" whenever I buy new stuff, I can feel adrenaline rushing through my veins at the MAC makeup counter, I don't need any drugs.

Done that 5 days ago. Had a great laugh. It can go bad tho if you're not sure about taking it or on the wrong spot.

2 out of 13 trips went wrong and personally this is my favorite drug.

and props to you... i catch grief every once in awhile from people who want me to do a line with em or partake in whatever drug they are using, but i just tell em "hey, i had my fair share of that shit when i was younger"

I'll put my opinion into perspective. I did magic mushrooms twice. The first time was a good experience. The second time was a horrible experience. The bad experience wasn't all hallucinations. There weren't any hallucinations during the entire trip actually. The problem was that it just felt like I was completely detached from reality. I lied on my friends sofa watching the clock waiting for the trip to wear off, it sucked. It still bothers me to this day.

To put it in perspective. If the chance of a bad trip happening was one in every 10,000 trips guaranteed, I wouldn't trip. That is how bad the experience was to me.

Haha, I have done shrooms 2 times.

My girlfriend just got a new car, we went driving in the country, we ended up in the ditch once and got scared to death...we were driving around a curve and a train was comming and it looked as if the train would hit us head on. We smoked a bag of dope and made 4 burn holes in the car.

Second time we stayed home, but another girlfriend took off to the bar and everyone who knew us, asked what was wrong with her, lol!

Now thats' back in my party days, wouldn't touch any of it now.

I would say don't drive while on shrooms and reading this: chemical interference with the body's nervous system. I'am real surprised I ever touched the stuff!

Mind strength goes completely out the window on magic mushrooms. The drug kicks your ass no matter how strong you might think you are. You are talking about the most potent drug on the planet. LSD/Mushrooms kick your ass, plain and simple. You can't control either of the drugs.

I don't really have strong convictions about drugs, I just never felt the need to do them. Plus another reason is vanity, I've seen pics of crackwhores/druggies and it really scares me, I want to look as young as possible for as long as I can and delay the signs of aging. Living hard tends to age you faster. Druggies tend to look really bad, I need as much on my side as possible to keep me younger, not age me faster.

good point... im not trying to convey that i am an avid drug user or anything... i had my run with doing drugs, and now that i am older, i look at people who are still doing them, and i think to myself things like "man, shes a pretty girl. i hope she stops before they take too much of a toll on her." i have seen alot of pretty girls, and good lookin guys too, get old before thier time from too much hard drug use...

i will stick to weed, and shrooms every once in a great while... other than that, im not what ya would call a "druggie" lol.

alcohol does the same thing too, i know people who were hardcore drinkers, and they tend to get older faster too...

You've got to be kidding me. The state of mind is very important on these kind of drugs.

Having a great day, really want to try shrooms, got a good quiet location and some laughing material (DVDs)? Then go for it. If not then don't.

i meant the whole wanting to do it all the time... i will agree that shrooms are not to be taken lightly, but i was talking about the actual addiction to drugs that seems to sneak up on alot of people.

Not to mention shrooms are 100% controllable, till you enter the bad trip. Once you're in the nightmare it's impossible to get out, but before, thinking of funny/other things or drinking a glass of water will most likely help.

i think there is alot of truth in that statement... i have never had a bad trip, and this is probably why...

i did see a guy tear off all his clothes and go running barefoot through the woods once screaming that he was jesus, and that he was here to save all our souls... he was picking thorns out of his feet for days, and couldnt hardly walk for a week after that.

JamesK, what I am saying is once you enter the trip it either goes good or bad, you have no control over it. If it goes good then you're in the clear, if it goes bad; well, you're fucked. You have to be in a perfect environment and really wanting to do them. If you have ANY doubt it can potentially make it bad. Just reading this thread can make someone have a bad trip.

Shrooms are incredible. What a fun time... unless you are an unstable person.

Havent done shrooms in a few years. Everytime I ate the fucking things Id end up laughing till tears. Makes you drink more too.. I guess to take the edge off the shrooms. They really do kick your ass.
