RSS feeds for the big TGP/MGP sites
 

Hi all,

I?m responsible for adding an adult feeds section to the site feedGod. Since the vast majority of these TGP/MGP sites don?t appear to have RSS feeds I?ve created a script which automatically generates a ?hidden? RSS feed for each site. Here?s some information about this for site owners.

* You can see the adult feed items come in live at: http://www.feedgod.com/?cat=5
* Each of your links to an external Thumbnail page is treated like an ?item? in the RSS feed. All of these outgoing links are kept the same, so if you have any kind of affiliate id on your outgoing links that should stay the same.
* We rebuild and cache these hidden feeds every 6 hours, so we only make a few requests to your site each day.

If your site isn?t on this list that?s because:
a) We don?t know about it. Send me an email to JamesCollander at Gmail to get yours included.
OR
b) Your site isn?t in a format that makes it easy to convert to RSS. The easiest sites to generate RSS for are ones like TheHun with lots of text links right on the main page going right to Thumbnail pages. We are still working on a good way to convert sites that link to categories (http://www.myfreephotos.com/). If your site has any other kind of unusual format we haven?t yet included it.

There are still a few bugs to be worked out with our system. If you notice a problem or have any issues with this let me know! Or if you want to see the RSS feed we?ve generated for your site just send me an email (JamesCollander at Gmail). I'd be best if it the email comes from the same domain as your site so we can make sure you are the owner. :)

I havent seen anything like that live porn site listing. I really like that idea. I want to implement rss into some of my sites.

does it interfere with trades and ad impressions?

As I say all outgoing links should be the same as they were on the TGP site, so if that's how you get credit for trades there should be no problems.
