Here is where I say I am not going to watch and get sucked in again. I didn't watch any of the normal Big Brother this year but if rumours are right and George Galloway is in this one it might be worth a watch.

Michael Barrymore is in there I believe so even if Jesus Christ was in there it wouldn?t be worth watching.

chances are most of the people are going to have gag orders



so far they are putting in a fake celeb that has to try to convince the rest of the 'real' celebs that she is famous. She looks like the essex answer to Paris Hilton.

I'd rather pick someone else's nose than watch Big Brother.

That is Peter Burns from Dead Or Alive. Incase you are young he sang the 80's classic 'You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)'. He's always been a gender bender, a cosmetic surgery addict and insane.

A few years ago I saw him on an episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks where he came off as a complete twat.

I never watched any episode of big brother. I find the show very lame. but then again most of the show on tv nowadays are lame

Hmmm, Big Brother in the UK??? I thought Big Brother was another term for the US Government and not a worldwide definition. I thought they got the name cause your always being watched on the show. Maybe I just dont get it but shouldnt it have been named something else???

Well, firstly George Orwell was British. As I am sure you are aware, the term Big Brother comes from his novel 1984. Big Brother was always watching and controlled the population..the cameras are always watching and the producers control the contestants.

Yeah i dont think i will be watching it. I like that they call it Celebrity Big Brother i dont know who most of them are. It should be called "Excelebrity Big Brother" or "I once got in the headlines and now wont to earn some more money Big Brother" ;)

Your absolutely right, I didnt even think about Orwells 1984. I am just used to hearing all the conspiracy nuts talk about the US Government as Big Brother. Guess I should thought a little harder before posting :1orglaugh

Indeed..just saying the term was British in origin. Anyone that lives in London knows about big brother the way Orwell meant it.

I wouldn't mind watching BigBrother UK version.. but I haven't watched bigbrother since the first season

Well, they have been doing Celeb Big Brother every year in the UK for about four years. It is usually a charity thing and is in addition to the regular one.

why does anyone in the UK care about rodman?

Three of them that I've never heard of. Pete Burns, though I recognise that record; Maggot, though I know of Goldie Lookin Chain; and Preston. Never heard of him or his band.

They know of him and have seen him in the press,etc. Sleeping with Madonna made him more famous here than basketball.

The Ordinary Boys are a half decent band that have a growing following in the indie scene. They are pretty big in Japan now which tends to be what happens with groups like that. I suppose their biggest song in the UK is 'Boys will be boys'
