Some of the 12 coal miners who died in Sago Mine disaster scrawled farewell notes assuring their loved ones that their final hours trapped underground amid toxic gases were not spent in agony.

It would lighten up the agony that the family feel but still it won't change the fact that their love ones are gone..

just like in The English PAtient where Kristin Scott Thomas writes in her journal inside the cave where ralph Fiennes left her after breaking a rib or something. that's just very dramatic for me
