CCBILL and password file wiping / readding
 

I was curious if anyone had insight as to when / why CCBILL password wipes occur.

I'm talking to someone who has several processors sharing a single htpasswd file that periodically gets wiped of everything but ccbill

I wouldn't trust the biller's supplied scripts to keep everything shipshape. Tell him to use separate password files with a cron job that regularly merges them into a single htpasswd. That's what I did when I used multiple processors.

been using a single password file for multiple processors for a long time now. never had an issue with ccbill wiping the file.
