PartyPoker & AdultFriendFinder adware on my comp

i'm getting internet explorer popup windows every time i 1st open an IE window, and also about every 30minutes i get another one

it is on my computer (not from a site i'm searching) AND it shows the affiliate ID's in the links

i emailed both companies about this, think they will cancel their accounts? or do you think those fucked up kind of marketing tactics make them too much money to cancel their acct?

(PP emailed back saying they'll look into the matter)

(AFF hasnt responded yet)

forget internet explorer, or install google popup blocker if you have to use it, aside from removing adware with a xoftspy or ad-aware tools

i had popup blockers, i ran many ad-aware type programs, nothing would get rid of their shit, i had to finally re-install windows the other day and that finally got rid of all that nasty shit

try Trend Micro PC-Cillin its hands down the best in anti-virus and adware detection. I used to use norton but it wouldnt stop the intrusions but since I switched to Trend I have had no problems!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with that. I sometimes wonder why anyone pushes AFF or Sexsearch for that matter. They are always the main 'sponsors' in any spyware/adware I have tested, or that were just installed.
It is funny to see these 'big' sites pushing them and then have a popup that covers these 'big' sites with adware/spyware ads using the same 'sponsor'.
I quit testing these things a long time ago. Fact is, on this board, not too many folks care at all about spyware.
