If you drink too much damn mountain dew ..
Can you get.. not cold sores.. But in the back corner of my mouth on the left side there's one of those super small ass white things thats hurts like a bitch.
I have been going on 2-3 hours of sleep a night lately and drinking a shitload of Mountain Dew - about ready to grab some Red Bull to make it through tonight... as I'm really dragging tonight. Is this shit from drinking the citric acid or whatever the hell it is in Mt. Dew ? I know everyone here at GFY is opinionated - thought we might have a couple that like to play Doctor as well (not that way.. perverts :1orglaugh ) |
Mountain Dew Urban Legend
Wild rumors like the ones quoted above about a popular brand of lemon-lime soda have been circulating for several years now. The first clue to its questionable veracity is the variety of reported effects: Drinking Mountain Dew will shrink your testicles. Or decrease your sperm count. Or cause your penis to grow smaller. Well, whatever occurs, it only happens to guys, and it hits them below the belt, right? |

Ross, I never said my nuts were shrinking!! ATLEAST NOT PUBLICLY (Shhhh) Citric Acids can cause cold sores etc... Just not sure to what extent ... I am not one of those people who likes drinking coffee too often, when I do only Jamaican Blue Mountain or Cappicino (sp?) |
I just feel the need to pee everytime I drink a bottle of mountain dew
|
Ahhh Mountain Dew you cant get that in England anymore maybe they banned it cos they found out what was in it hehehehe lol

You should try 80 % chocolate with water. Choco is the only aliment that GIVES you energy. Cafeine have very bad effects... you'd be a lot better that way (and it would cost a little bit more off course)
|
They're not cold sores (herpes), they're canker sores or mouth ulcers. I used to get them a lot when I was a kid and every great once in a while I will get one now. Stuff like tomatoes and oranges sometimes seemed to cause them, and then sometimes they just popped up out of nowhere. I've always had stomach ulcers, as well.
|
sounds like an ulcer if it's inside your mouth... usually it's because of a build-up of bacteria... or you bit yourself...

I use to drink mountain dew for years. Finally quit drinking sodas all together. Was a fun few days with the cafeine headaches. Glad I dont drink that crap anymore.

I couldn't give up my caffeine, withdrawls is putting it mildly .. I become practically house bound my body goes through such shock. One of only two vices I have left, that and smoking :( I sure as shit hope it isn't an ulcer because my stomach has been REALLY torn up lately.. I mean non stop cramping... pains under my left rib cage.. now under my right and left rib cage.. always feel hungry .. when I eat I always feel full for a couple hours then right back to hungry.. Not fun stuff |
