It is more cruel to allow him to keep those hormones and urges and never in his life let him act on them.

It's a good thing, now he can sleep around with all the hot bitches and not have to worry about having puppies with all of them...

I did it to my cat... he hates me for that.. he hasnt spoke to me since then

Not just that, but it lessens the chances of prostate cancer.

- Fixed male dogs have a greatly reduced risk of prostate cancer.
- Fixed female dogs have a greatly recuded risk of ovarian cancer.
- Dogs do not know they've lost anything.
- Studies show fairly conclusively that male dogs grow to be the same size even with neutered at a young age.
- Non neutered male dogs make a more natural target for other male dogs. In other words, expect other dogs to be more aggresive to a non neutered dog.

Unless you're going to breed your dogs, it's cruel to NOT get them fixed. That's the bottom line.

Shakes is at the vet now getting operated one. Will have him back in 5 hours or so.
