A Model Told me Kindergarten in Georgia starts at age 7...
 

... because supposedly this means the kids will be more mature and ready to learn. Add 8 years to that and the 15 year old 8th grader makes sense (if Florida does the same as Georgia).

Florida is like the rest of the country, the start date being 5. My son actually started at 4 years old due to when his birthday fell in August. I have never heard of 7 years old starting kindergarten unless the kid was mentally challenged or something.

here in jersey your in at age 5 or 6 i forget i mean the extra year isn't much but when you get to high school and your a 19 year old senior thats gotta fucking suck...

If they're gonna do that they should just skip a year, no way I'd want to be a senior at 19/20.

Maybe SHE started Kindergarten at age 7... but I don't think that's the norm.
