Just got rid of the Christmas Tree!
 

Last year I drug it out on Valentines day. The year before I got it out at the beginning of March. I think I did pretty well this year :winkwink:

no sh** I also threw mine out this afternoon! One day AFTER my bday! I love the holidays - they come and go too fast!

I need to take mine down. Last two years I went far into March. The only reason I took it down that soon last year is because I moved lol... My goal is by the weekend.

LOL I'm glad to know that I'm not the only Christmas tree procrastinator here ;)
The worst part of taking it down this late is all the needles fall off the tree and make a huge mess all over the place.

My mom still has two of the three she puts up each year still alive and kicking.

One year we had a live one that stayed up until the week before Easter.

how does she get them to live so long? I keep mine watered but it dries up by the end of December.

I had to force myself to take ours down last weekend.

I put it down last week; the first sunday of the year.

lol mine was down two days after chrsitmas I knew I wouldnt take it down if I wasnt in the mood so I took it down the first day I could..

I think I'm going to force myself to do it Jan 2nd next year. I meant to do it early this year but got lazy, then Vegas came. There are always reasons to not do it ;)

We took ours out of the living room last week.

haha ;) I did that 3 years ago. They are great when you first get them, but a real bitch to get rid of. LOL I guess I'm lazy.

I got rid of mine yesterday. If you've never burned your Christmas tree after it's been sitting in your house for a month, your missing out!! After seeing that tree go up in a blaze it's no wonder so many house fires start during the holidays.

Isn't it supposed to be unlucky to leave it up more than 12 days after Christmas?

I just got back from her place and not only are the 2 trees still up, but she has over 200 of these Clothique Santa figures that she collects and there is still a large amount of them setup throughout the house.

I don't even bother decorating or putting up a tree. My mom has enough Christmas shit for me to get by on. :1orglaugh

I've never had any bad luck by leaving it up 12 days after xmas ;)

OMG you lazy asses!! Was it a real tree? Last year we procrastinated a little bit and the whole tree practically fell apart in our living room.

We just burnt ours in our fire pit this weekend. Man that thing went up in flames.

Yeah, I'd totally burn mine if I could but it's been raining here like crazy. It would be kinda funny to burn that bad boy in the middle of downtown Seattle:)

Christmas night ours was down. The wife likes to take it down right after xmas

I just took mine down this week too. Normally i don't wait until so late, but with all the travel it just kinda worked out that way. I wasn't even calling it a tree anymore, i was just referring to it as my 'fire hazard'!

I took out the Christmas tree and all other christmas decors last week. I felt like the house needs the "moving on, back to reality" ambiance

I took it our yesterday it was starting to be brown.

Mine is out right after jan 1 and so the other outdoor decorations.

surpised it lasted that long

This xmas I'll set a reminder for everyone to get their tree's out earlier ;)
