Think of all the lives that were lost. Being in NJ and so close, I felt the pain first hand. I had many friends who worked there and were lucky to get out. I also had friends who perrished.

think about pieces of the steel in your picture frame falling onto innocent people, crushing them to death. Having pieces of steel tear apart their bodies.

Think if you were in a car wreck, and people sold pieces of your car to make coins, or picture frames.

I knew people that died at the WTC...not a day goes by that I dont think about what happened.

It hurts that people can actually use pieces of the steel that killed people and make money off of them.

just my thoughts...understand I had friends that were killed by those fucking cowards, and to see people capitalize off of it makes me sick.

Hmm...making money out of this is a bright idea...it first helps people to not forget about what happened + it helps the whole country because it makes the cash circulate a bit more, which help the USA economy (even if it does not really need help :thumbsup ).

In other words, why should we cry at this every single day, when we can help a cause and buy/sell stuff about this event?

um, there is no way that is real metal from the building... all that debris is under guard 24/7 and has been since the thing happened... surely this is a scam. no one has access to that debris but the us govt.

I went to the WTC site several weeks after 9-11 and got real damn close. There were chunks of rubble all over the place still. I thought about picking up a piece as a memento and quickly decided not to. Not sure why.. just didn't seem right at the time.
Now I wish I had, at least for my kid.
Drove by the WTC site last week and things look pretty cleaned up outside the fence. You can drive along the road that they just opened back up last week and you can see right down into the pit. Pretty weird feeling to look down in there and know that there are still bodies in there.
The lights across the street that form a memorial to the twin towers are pretty cool as you are driving south towards them and see them rising up where the towers used to be. Too bad they will be gone in a few days.
If you get a chance to go down there you should definately do so. Not as a tourist but as an American. I will definately not forget my visits there since 9-11. It is even more amazing when you go the short distance to Battery Park and look out at the Statue of Liberty and turn around and see the WTC site from the same spot. Even though Washington DC is the capitol I don't think there is any location that is more representative of America.

I hear that if the price is right, you can get bits of clothing, and pieces of Police / Firefighter uniforms are fetching very large prices.

But - How is that a good way to educate your children? what will you tell them? "here is a piece of the WTC - a horrible terror act upon free inoccent people. HO - and BTW if it happens again 'buy low and sell high'"?
Come on. Damn. WTC is a bigger tragedy than you realize. While you say it is a tragedy you still dont understan how much it is so. You all have to wake up and see beyond the rage - see the real danger. You think you do realize? my apologies - maybe you do.
But human race morality has to be rechecked nowadays.
Terror - in any form is the biggest danger to your life, and more so - to your children life (young dumb pornmasters will have hard time grasping that).
Wanting a memorabilia is not evil, bad or mistaken - nothing bad about it. Having a memorabilias business has a slightly bad smell - but still not even close to the evil of the terror attack.

If the world (west) dont wake up - you will not have to remind/teach you children about their WTC - they will have their own WTCenters - plenty of them - Plenty of steal-pieces and memorabilias of their own.

Ive said it before but - there are non english speaking Mexicans illegal aliens right up the road from me selling plastic America Flags made in Mexico and have been there everyday since 9-11 with their fucking car they cant get smogged and most likely without insurance, call it stereotype but I see it wayyy too much and anyone from SOuthern California knows what I am talking about.

Im talking Van Nuys California - straight fucking Mexico in America - you go to a store or a gas station some of these people dont speak English... seriously the Supermarket near my house the checkers there do NOT speak English ... the store is Vallarta Supermercado.

I have seen these fuckers sell everything they possibly can related to 9-11 and trust me, they should be working a real job instead of selling flags outside my apt building.

I cant get a fucking t1 installed in my apt because of zoning, but there are mexican guys who push grocery baskets around here and sell fucking pillows, ice scream, oranges, and my favorite corn on the cob and bootleg cds!

Man I am 5 minutes from Hollywood California USA - not Mexico.

I can get basically any copy of any cd i want for 5 bucks, (illegally copied) I can get some beer from the market, buy me an American Flag for 2 bucks, (made in mexico sold on the side of the road out of car) and sit on my computer and be proud to be an American knowing this is why I pay taxes, and mot much else.

I truly cannot stand people who make profit off of trajedy, let alone people who are not supposed to be here in the first place.
