Does The Length Of A Warning Page Hurt?
Say you have an warning page, nicely done, that scrolls before the sufer sees the enter button. Does it hurt?
I can't see it doing any harm, in fact it can only do more good than harm in my opinion.
here's my theory... easier it is for surfer to enter your site and/or bypass warning page, less retention to warning page more work for surfer to find 'enter' link, more chances of them noticing/reading warning message which helps protect your ass and also increase targeted traffic maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but that's just how I see it |
Interesting thought there, but you don't want to bore the person either?
I have never bothered on my TGP's/MGP's..surfers know what to expect as the trade sends them there. Also many surfers close the page because they are lazy to scroll down
This is to be a pay site
Doesn't really matter. It's not like anyone ever reads them anyway.
Depends on the current percentage of dumb surfers that don't know how to scroll down.
there are still a lot of people that dont know how to scroll, make it so they can see the enter link :thumbsup
Why don't you post an ENTER link at the top AND bottom of the warning?
That way you cover your ass against the Feds and against lazy surfers. Make the warning as long as you want... |
