*Not too many "friendly" smilies...lol |

I'm glad for you, FB! It must be so rewarding at times like that!

Congratulations. Knowing you and Chris, it's obvious he gets any physical prowess from your side of the family.
However, I'm not a big fan of patronizing kids to build up their self esteem. Don't mentally break them, but there still needs to be some competition. Life is competition and I believe kids need to be prepared for that. When I play my kids for example, I play to kick their asses. Okay, maybe it's more for me. Nothing like boosting your ego by whipping your 6 year old at chinese checkers and chess. But seriously, the day he finally DID beat me, THAT was a great day. I'll never forget how proud I was of him, and I could see how proud he was of himself. It was great. (I just don't play with the little fucker anymore unless it's a game I know I can win.) |
That's great FB! Happy and proud parents for sure! :thumbsup

Congrats :)

Congrats. I had something amazing happen today with my 7 month old.
We were in costco, and my wife was pushing the stroller ( as she should be ) and I stopped and looked at my boy. He smiled at me, and I said Hi! He opend his mouth and said. hjfejwbhfibaiuodgash hew dhiasugfq disaghdcui. I was so proud. Actually he has been saying Hi to us for the past 2 months. Usually in response to us saying it to him. |
Damn no nipples....
Congrats to Ryan! |
