Re topic - what does it matter? I've heard muscle car engine capacity described in both litres and cubic inches.

yeah I'm not much off a 'speller' . . matters to me because I grew up with cubic inches and never really got a handle on liters . . . I might not be alone on this one . . but I could be . .. FC's/TFC are only 500 CU's - 7,000 hp though . . . hard for me to consider 7,000 hp from an 8 liter, but 500 cu!! yeah!!!
