Let's talk about the F1 track in Monaco - you been there? Question about best seats
Hey
Anyone ever went there or lives in Monaco? Which seats are best on the F1 track? I've googled but couldn't find anything. I know seats at the start/finish are most expensive so probably best but that doesn't seem too interesting to me. I wanna have seats in a spectacular corner and perhaps see some crashes :) http://www.justtickets.co.uk/images/tracks/TrMonaco.jpg (I hope hotlink works) I think V or C would be best seats but I'm not sure. So let me know if you ever went there and know what the best seats are. Thanks!! Mike |
Somewhere close to one of the big LCD screens, so you can see the rest of the race.
If I'm not mistaken isn't the sharp hairpin corner at C down hill into the tunnel.. So it's likely you won't see much of the race from there. |
Never been there but based on races I've seen if I were going I would choose:
2 or 5 for the start finish or x1/x2 for the pit action. For crashes c or 1 always action there especially on the first lap when 22 cars tries to crawl thru the corner. I would definately pick that over V There usually is some action at the A3 corner when the drivers forget to turn and goes straight into the wall. |

It is but there are always cars bumping into each other. |
get a seat right in the tunnel.
you will love the sound of the first car passing it (because you can't hear the second anymore :winkwink:) |
I've been to the hotel with the casino, beats me if I now can remember it's name. They have pretty sweet view from the roof to the tight bends. :)

That's opposite to the ' C ' apparently there's no spectator places there. heh..

V is shit, C is ok....Monte carlo is built on a mountain hill you best pick a spot
that is located on the higher part of town. From there you usually can see more than 1 area of the track. Never sit on a straight but rather pick a chicane or tight corner.....that way you will at least be able to see the cars and be able to see which driver it is :thumbsup I've been to Monaco F1 a couple of times.....it's a fun GP to watch the race however usually isn't very exciting.....but still well worth the trip :thumbsup |

A3, B 1 and C are the highest parts in that order A3 would be your best pick in
my opinion. You can also buy tickets in Monte Carlo to watch the GP from a yacht prices for that start around 200 Euro including some drinks and snacks :thumbsup |
