Do they have known issues for not providing the highest quality bandwidth & routing?

If you have a box there, do you see a visible slowdown of your sites loadtimes during peak hours?

I've got box's all over, but i'm trying to figure out if the one i have there is actually having bottleneck/latency etc. issues, or if its the script/box itself.

Do a loadtime test to see many milliseconds it takes to generate a page.
Then youll know if its your box or the connection

Well, I have resell space on a server located at the planet and its running fine all the time

I've only got 2 boxes there so it's hard for me to really say, but if I think about it yeah they do seem to gum up a bit more than boxes I have other places. Again, I'm not much of a bellwether though....

I've been thinking about moving them anyway. The thought of having ANYTHING that I pay for be located in Texas? Urgh.

Their bandwidth is fine, but they have an overzealous abuse department.

planet seems to do ok for me

I once had someone use one of their servers to try to hack into my sites... they did nothing about it at all...

A pretty good datacenter. Very few downtimes in 2+ years. Fast support too.

Never had a problem with them always fast here :thumbsup

Aha, thats true. They go bananas for the smallest little thing.
