to track traffic coming from their affiliates in order to credit them.
I have traffic with cookies disabled and I need to send them to sponsors that can still credit me for sales.

Like was said most programs nowadays that like us rely on NATS/MPA/PartnerSoft have lots of other methods to track the sales.
