I agree Hal. Retouching has gotten too out of control. Girls go crazy trying to make themselves look like their favorite star... but they don't know that star looks nothing like that picture they see.

i agree with you and Hal.
i just saw last year, on 20/20, how theres an exmodel goin school to school, showing all of her pics before and after, to help teens understand that everyone has flaws and not everyone is as skinny and 'perfect' as they seem.

if only every school did that once a year, might be able to help teen girls' perspective and maybe even save a few lives (bulimia).

Those look terrible. Good work doesn't looked like it has been touched up...

thats because his work is for large volume print, like magazines and not for the web... I dont have much experience in preping photos for the production proccess, but I'm sure its much harder and more intricate

Some of those are real bad.

He's got talent in lighting and such, they just seem overdone.

He's got skill, although some of his portfolio pics are obviously done better than others.

$125 is a reasonable going rate for what he does, given his clientele list. Obviously a few major companies I saw listed think he's talented enough to warrant paying that wage.

All the power to him. I always appreciate seein' the work of talented photoartists.
