I'm looking for websites with (free) magic tricks
 

To entertain myself :)

Tons of sites but ofcourse they all want you to buy books and shit. Now i actually think im gonna buy a dvd or book but still that will take forever to arrive.

Just saw Darren Brown on tv. That guy is amazing. But he does nothing that you can't learn.

All his mind reading is explainable.

When I was younger and had time for that stuff, I could always entertain myself with the books at the library.

Disappearing Quarter magic trick:
What you need :

a quarter
napkin
How to do this Disappearing Quarter magic:

To do this trick, hold the quarter in your hand, between your thumb and your index finger. The palm of your hand should be facing your body.

Now practice passing the quarter from your right hand to your left hand. If you're left handed, you can hold the quarter in your left hand. It's good to do this so you know what it's supposed to look like when you pretend to pass the quarter. That way you can fake it better.

Now, for the magic. This time instead of passing the quarter to your other hand, you're going to say the magic words, " abra ca dabra" , Make this coin leave the room now!" and use the index and middle fingers on your empty left hand to knock the quarter into your right hand. You still pretend to grab the quarter with your left hand, as you are dropping it into your right hand.
Keep practicing and soon you will be able to learn this magic trick like a pro!

You might be able to find a magic enthusiasts' forum - at least there, people aren't going to be overly hung up on making a buck, like they will at any website offering books.

It's worth it. He does a lot of tricks on the street and some spectacular things that have been featured on TV. I got some ripped videos of him on my pc, let me know if you want it :winkwink:
