Try this software...

http://www.pqdvd.com/psp/video_converter.html

It is the free version, it does virtually everything the FULL version does except for ripping dvd's.

It converts the movie and creates a thumb which you upload to the psp as well.

I am using PSPVideo9 .... works great ... but I am trying to figure what are the settings users prefer....

I used PSPVideo9 before, but I now prefer PSP Movie Creator.

You simply use the slider to choose the size you want the clip to be and everything is done automatically for you.

And the automatic thumb creation is great, as it makes it simple for the user to find video on their psp if they have several on their psp already.

As for the size I usually split each movie in 10 sections at about 15mb each (for users with 32mb card). Plus offer full movie at about 110mb (for users with 128mb card or larger)

If you would like to see a sample using PSP Movie Creator, visit my site PSPMovies.ca and download sample at top of page.
