Cloaking Ip's - Proxy's and the such !
 

OK I am not doing anything too dodgy... but is there a way to change your ip's... I dont really understand proxys... but wondered if anyone can share some juice with me on how you can have different ips... it's a little money making scheme I have

Basically need to be able to go to a site, and have a different ip each time... :helpme

but if you dont know much about proxies, good luck

google it.

In internet explorer---

go to tools >internet options>connections>lan setting> then click use a proxy.. enter the proxy and port..

in firefox -----

tools>options>general>connection settings> then use a proxy and same thing.

then go to http://www.showmyip.com/ and see if it shows as a proxy or not


p.s. heres an http proxy that works to test with

206.207.175.69 port 8080

If you don't know wtf you're doing don't try it until you know wtf you're doing.

p.s.s. many proxies ban adult pages so you might have a problem

It's not adult... it's a type of PPC... just seeing if I can do a few clicks myself and get paid :)

Will have a play with the proxy idea, I use internet explorer :)

So what is a proxy... do you access the site through the proxy, and in turn their random ip ???

It's called fraud and I believe it's a federal offense. Oh, and tack on theft as well. :)

And just to add, why would anyone in their right mind promote for you when you're trying to thieve pennies from other companies?

It's called fraud and theft. You as a sponsor running a program should really watch what you say (and admit to) on these boards. Again, why would anyone in their right mind promote your program if you admit to trying to steel pennies from other companies? There's absolutely nothing you can say that will justify yourself in this matter so just leave this thread alone.
