Who here works out?
Who here works out? What type of working out do you do and how often?
I do some weight training and cardio. Use to do it 3 or 4 times a week but not only once a week. I'm getting lazy :Oh crap I'm still in normal shape but I want to do some more exercise... |
about 3 to 4 times a week I do - I have diabetes so it is also important to keep up the exercises.
|
yup i do
but not for huge muscles just to keep in condition 2-3 times a week cardio fitness pretty cool gym all pc stuff nice gear too and free coke lights :) |
I dont, But I want 2.
|
I do it only two times a week, and I also play ice hockey which keeps me in shape. :-)
|
I train weight/resistance train four days a week and I cardio three times a week.
|
Every other day I hit the gym. 20 mins of cardio, then a freeweight segment, then another 20 mins of cardio. It's been working out pretty well, havent felt this good in a long time :)
|
I just started.
I do cardio and weight training each 3x/week, on rotating days. I do cardio one day, work my upper body the next, cardio the next, then lower body the next, then cardio again, the upper body again, and so on, taking the seventh day off. |
aroubd 6 times a week just to stay in shape, mopst of the time cycling, I do weight lifting but nothing really hectic
|
I do, usually 3- 4 times a week. Mostly cardio then do about 30 minutes of weights.
|
I just returned from a soccer session! And I swim with my gf 2 times per week! Love to work out from time to time! Not too much though!

Since I train four days a week, sometimes my cardio and training overlap. Those days are a bitch, even nine months later. :) |

Same here Sam. I'm not working out as much as I used to or as much as I'd like either.
|
At least 4 times a week. Heavy lifting.
I swim as my cardio routine probably twice a week. Rarely on the same day as when I lift. I don't have a schedule set in stone. I work off of the feel of my muscles. If a bodypart feels rested I'll hit it again. Sometimes that means I'll do legs twice a week or back twice a week... but sometimes only once. I focus on major body parts and never work them on the same day. Back, chest, legs all get separate days. Stomache, arms and shoulders are fit inside... although arms and shoulders are usually done the day after legs. My nutrition is always tight although not strict. Hell, if I eat Chinese I'm doing it with brown rice. And somehow I rarely eat lots of fat. Some days I take fat supplements because I eat dangerously low levels. Once you get in the habit of eating well all your choices are made with health in mind without even having to think about it. I know how many calories everything is, what to combine the dish with etc. Study the nutritional charts on everything and you will develop this skill too. Once you do losing and gaining weight is simple to control. |
I have a workout video I do five times a week. I also walk a hell of a lot.
|
I don't have much time to go to the gym like I used to. Lately I just stay at home and lift weights

i do :)
i've switched recently (past 2 weeks) to a powerlifting routine. 3 solid days a week.. squat every day, flat barbell press for 2 of the days, military press / incline press / deadlifts are performed one time a week.. along with side work like abs, tricep extensions, barbell curls. it's bill starr's 5x5 linear powerlifting routine. i can currently hit 270x5, once im done with this, the goal is to hit 305x5 or so (for flat barbell press) |

I wish I had the time :1orglaugh
To me, exercise feels like work. |
I don't at all. But I am having the metal removed from my foot on the 7th of Feb and then I am starting a 6 week hardcore work out with a trainer on Feb 20th. I will be working out 6 days a week at least 2 to 3 hours a day. I turn 33in 2 days and I am going to get this body in the best shape it has ever been so I can get myself out of this depression of growing old. :1orglaugh

My gym is right next door to McDonalds...
|
Hahha, my connection on my laptop is down. Damn wireless router. I'm typing this from my separate non-porn work computer that doesn't have ICQ on it.

|

I love working out... it's such a stress reliever for me.
I hit the gym four days a week now and will be going to five as of next week. I alternate with cardio and light weights. My cardio days last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour each session. Bikini season is just around the corner!! :winkwink: |

I love to hit the iron pile, only problem is that I havent been able to in a long while do to some surgies I've had.
Some good advice I can give is to stretch between every set you do! Not only does it feel good but you more than likely won't look like your all bunched up when you get big. |
I do weight training every second day, with 20 mins of cardio. And 40 mins of cardio every other day.

haha, I have those :) They are fun. I wish they had those pole dancing classes in my area, I think that would be a great workout. Maybe I can get a pole installed in my room ;) |

I go to 24 Hour Fitness and recently joined LVAC as well which is much nicer.
I usually do 5 days a week one hour a day cardio and/or machines/free weights. I try to get each major body part a once a week workout. Cardio is the hard part. I get bored as shit on the treadmills so do alternate sprint/walk around the track. I much prefer swimming for cardio but the gym pools are always full of Grannies doing aquarobics. Bless their hearts :winkwink: When I lived in Hawaii I had a permanent eight pack "naturally" from being in the ocean about 20 hours a week having fun in the waves but here in the desert I bust my ass and still have a bit of a spare tire :Oh crap |
I used to work out before... work-out sessions usually begin with cardio exercises before proceeding with the harder & more strenuous routines.
But now, I do crunches or sit-ups at least thrice a day and threadmill for at least an hour... |
