Back from Puerto Rico..My new home (pics)

I'll be moving to the west coast of puerto rico come march/april . I went there to see if I liked it and I LOVED it...I'll be on the beach every day...I can't wait to go back...I'm done with living in the states...This is the view from my room on the patio.

There are so many latin countries with the same or an even better set up than Puerto Rico. Where chicks are more down to earth and where you could shoot content all day long for cheap.
What made you decide on Puerto Rico then?
I've been to a couple and my favourites are Peru, Costa Rica and Colombia, in that order. Haven't been to Brazil yet, want to learn Portuguese before I do.

Why would you have to? It's a commonwealth of the US. I'd love to go there... I can't imagine it would be much different then going into the US mainland for a US citizen?

BigRod 01-30-2006 11:26 PM

very nice...!

Axeman 01-30-2006 11:28 PM

looks like a nice place to settle for awhile.

KRL 01-31-2006 12:08 AM

One of my uncles was in the Navy and got stationed at the US Naval Base there for many years. Said it was one of the nicest places to live he's ever been at.

Good luck. Looks beautiful.

Nice good luck with the exotic looking Latinas! I go there often!
Puerto Rico is in the U.S.A. for all u guys that may not know and the girls are tougher than Colombians and Brazillians cuz they deal in dollars......

Puerto Rican residents don't have to pay any federal income tax...The only thing I'll lose is the ability to vote for President but I can deal with that....

This is on the northwest coast so they don't take the full brunt of hurricanes...Even still, all I gotta do is move inland because we'll have plenty of warning.

Borka 01-31-2006 07:28 AM

high speed high quality internet is as readily available as it is here...All of the communications systems are top notch...You don't even have to change the number on your cellphone as your phone will work down there if you're using a major carrier.

amandaspost 01-31-2006 12:29 PM

Residents of the island do not pay federal income tax on income from island sources, although they pay federal payroll taxes, which have a particularly heavy impact on Puerto Rico's relatively low-income workers. Although they pay hefty local taxes, island residents are not subject to federal income taxation, as a result of a US Supreme Court Decision that the United States treaty that acquired Puerto Rico from Spain superseded the United States Constitution, so that the United States citizens of Puerto Rico are not subject to the Revenue Clause of the United States Constitution. Further, island residents pay social security taxes and other federal taxes.
