where would you rather live north or south?

Distinction please:

San Fransisco is middle California.

Cali? yuck......Iowa all the way man....all the way

South, cause it has LA and Hollywood, home of the stars... I like South because I'm a fame whore and like celebs...

Everthing above Bakersfield counts as northern

Ive lived in both so cal and nor cal (bay area).

both have their pros and cons, two different worlds.

Born and raised in Newport Beach, CA (The OC) then moved up to Berkeley to go to school. Back in Newport now, here to stay.

I've lived in both Norcal (near sac) and so cal(LA), Its a slower pace of life in norcal and I enjoy that much more than la.

Northern cal all the way. I love the redwoods and all the freaky little towns along the coast

Hell yeah I am serious, If you were to divide California in to two regions south of bakersfield would be industrial and north would be agricultural.

Middle - agricultural (though bay area is full of industrial)
Northern - Resources and water.

I want to move to LA, OC is too slow paced, it's like a town or too much suburbia, I wanna be in LA closer to the action (Hollywood), it seems more fast-paced and glamorous in LA. I also have a secret fantasy of making it in Hollywood in the entertain biz somehow.... OC is so boring, I can't stand it here, I used to live by the beach (Huntington ) and it was still boring. I wanna go to Hollywood...

i live in norcal.. but i'd rather be on the EAST COAST!

Yup, you can say way that.

Though I still think if something can be 300+ miles south of you and it still be reffered to as the northern part of the state something is wrong.

if you don't live in LA or Bakersfield, you would generally say you live in Northern CA, its just the lingo up here...

You have to check out both, I lived, Napa, Bay Area, Santa Barbara, Huntington Beach, LA, And now Hollywood.

They all had there great things and couldn't say which is better other then HB surf is great and SB girls are unmatched the bay area has easy access to Tahoe if you board and Hollywood has a the best party scene.

I never met any stars at all. I just like to follow their lives on tv and in the tabloids, I want to see some stars. Also I don't "whore around" wtf is it with whoring around? I am not interested in any male stars, I look up to some female stars, I wouldn't mind running into them somewhere, but i would never talk to them, i'd be too scared, i would just stare.

I am more interested in the female stars because I aspire to be like them. I could care less about the male stars, i dont even like any of them. I could care less about male stars, I just like to know what the girlies are wearing and the latest gossip!

South California ruled, rules and will always rule!

It is home to the pristine beaches, great national parks, and awesome climate.

I've lived all over California. Chico and Redding are the best part of California. Seriously. Saying otherwise = never living up here.

I spent a few summers and a couple winter breaks up near redding, I'd have to say they are the shits of california - basically they are the part of california that you can easily confuse with the rest of the midwest. I say we give em up to oregon.

And we are try to pay you to run dating ads, so whats up?

Chico rocks..its such a cool clean little college town with some awesome food and people. Redding I agree with..

The Bay Area is not NorCal. It is central. Norcal is above Sacramento.

I'd like to move to Stinson Beach and eat Oysters for breakfast every day.

"Up near Redding" does not equal Redding.

Norcal as I know it from living in the Bay Area, and then living in San Diego, is generally everything above SoCal - well the part above Socal that actually counts...the bay area!

Super-nor-cal, aka, above the bay does not even embody what people recognize California for...therefore it shall here on be succeeded to Oregon.

I can only take so much of So Cal until I have to head back up north. Things are more chill up here. The only place I'd want to live in So Cal would be San Diego, I absolutely loved my time down there, other then that I'm perectly happy in Vacaville.

hahaha... definately no shortage of freaks and freaky little towns along the coast. love driving through northern california just to check people out. once saw a very nasty looking, homeless hippy guy who looked like he had been living on the street in the same clothes for years driving a lamborghini (presumably a uhmm.. "farmer"). or getting my hair cut in Fortuna at a barber shop where just as i started to notice all the weird shit like the fact that he nazi literature everywhere, was loading his own ammo in the barber station next to me and had quite a few guns laying around, he launched into a psychotic rant about how we all need to prepare ourselves for the new world order and revolution.

Southern California born and raised, although I love traveling up to the sequoias.

Norcal is cold and rainy. Socal is hot and sunny. I prefer Hawaii.
