Looks like my prediction for T.O. may be right

Recent news has revealed that T.O. has met with Denver and things went well. Maybe I should become a part-time football guru. :D

When I predicted it:

I was thinking he might go to Miami if they can get a decent QB...

Miami would seem like a fit as well. However, after the Ricky thing, I think they may be leary of handeling another potential problem player. Denver however is in desperate need for a play maker at wide reciever. This could really open up thier usually solid running game when you have to double cover someone like T.O.

I agree Miami really needs to address the QB issue. I don't expect them to do it in the first round of the draft. Look for Miami to once again pursue a veteran free agent . If Daunte Culpeper gets dealt I would not rule out Miami making a serious bid.

Now if T.O. and Daunte were both to go to Miami that would make for an interesting story. The new deep threat tag team. It's not going to happen though.

Personally I think Daunte is damaged goods these days. I feel his head is out of the game. Coming off his injury and a very bad season when he was in the game, who knows how he will recover.

to needs to be shot.

Scroto 01-31-2006 05:01 PM

we dont want him here lol

I also forgot, I called the Pittsburg / Denver game as well.

I'll admit, I fucked up the Seattle prediction though.

Funny how all the points were against Pittsburg vs. Denver. Now everyone is all up in Pittsburg's nuts because of the Bettis story.

So, I'll be bold once again and predict the Super Bowl results:

Seattle by 6 (two field goals). Big Ben will freak out under Super Bowl pressure and throw 2 picks. Alexander will rush over 100 yards with two touchdowns and will be Super Bowl MVP. Bettis will rush for 1 touchdown but will be heald to under 70 yards total. No matter what the broadcast will cover up clear shots of the cheerleaders with some lame advertisement overlay. The Rolling Stones half-time show will suck ass.

Remember you heard it here first.

that guy from that show said that months ago

That's not what the team has stated. Face it, a deep threat play maker could put Denver in contention for the big game next year. That is what they lacked this year when they went down to Pittsburg. Well that and Jake spazing out and trying to force the ball into extra coverage.

Remember Denvers risk last season with Clarett...I dont think he'll go there.
Im not a fan of the idea (that & I dont see it working really) Dallas is still an option. They asked Jerry Jones about the whole star thing & his answer was that if TO liked the star so much, if he signed with Dallas he could sleep on it each night hehe... but to bring him to Dallas means him playing.. who sits the bench? Keyshawn?? (no) Terry Glenn (no) Captin Dan Campbell (TE-no) 2time pro bowler Jason Witten (TE-no) so it wouldnt fit. Unless they went into a 3 WR set which means Campbell only comes in on blocking downs mainly.. and they stick Patrick Crayton on the bench as the #4 WR.
If he goes to Denver I think they might dump leiley (sp?) since hes never been what they wanted for a 1st round pick.

Miami will trade Ricky for TO

There is no way T.O. is going to Dallas unless Keyshawn gets delt some how. Putting those two togeather would be like asking Paris Hilton to start a band with Jessie Jackson. Two major attention whores that could not work togeather because of the desire to be the person in the spot light.

Now Ashley Lelie could go from Denver. Aside from the 04 season he has been marginal at best. So, he could go the way of Peter Warrick when he was at Cinci and get traded off for some defensive support that may benifit Denver. According to the news coverage the talks with T.O. in Denver went well, the team players have already said they were willing to accepet him and Shanahan is a tough dude that could tame him for at least one year. My guess is he will do to Denver on a conditional contract, Denver will milk it for a run at the big show, and T.O. will take it as a means to add value back to his name. After that, who knows?

What if Farve gets released and Miami picks up him and TO..

Hey I am as JET fan so I would hate to see that but it would be a smart move for them...

kristin 01-31-2006 08:00 PM

TO won't do well with an AFC team period ... he fit the NFC, bah ... he should just retire now.
