You're not the sharpest peanut in the turd.
I heard that at a bar last night. I thought it was a funny expression.
I'll use it on someone tomorrow in a crowd of people and see what kinda reaction it gets... :thumbsup
time to test that one out
Same here... I'll try using that statement. Nice punchline.
It's illogical though.
That's different... the weirdest expression I had ever heard was from a guy I played hockey with.
He'd say to another guy: "I'll slap you in the cocksucker" |
Umm, its a bit illogical yes.

Who says it has to be logical?

NICE, that one gave me a laugh. |
Maybe "You're not the saltiest peanut in the turd." Or for you ATM guys, "You're not hte tastiest peanut in the turd."
I'm stealing that. (thread title)
you are not the coldest beer in the fridge!
You're not the....
-- sharpest knife in the drawer...... tired, old and overused. -- sharpest tool in the shed........... same as above. -- sharpest peanut in the turd........ new, fresh, innovative, full of unexpected shock value for those nearby listeners in a public setting. I like it. Logical? If you're thinking about the word sharp being in the same context as knives or tools, then no, it's not logical. But sharp can also mean smart.... "She's a sharp cookie"..... "Figuring that out was very sharp of you"...... "That guy is very sharp-witted"...... In that context the phrase actually IS logical. I rest Donny's case. |
