Who wants ContentLotto back?

I have a similar clone of the script, coded myself a few years ago in Flash and PHP, just found it on my harddrive lying and doing nothing.

Not sure if the original domain contentlotto.com is for sale or bot, but I know the it had around 7000 registered webmasters when it was shut down and let to expire. Is there anyone interested (and able to) partner up on the project to advertise it, and see if it can be brought up to become as popular as the old one was?

I would like to see it coming back. It was fun playing back then...

Cant remember who but someone bought it years ago and was going to redo the concept. looks like it never happened.

Why would it be a bad idea? It's just for fun, I don't expect it to become a money making machine, the old one wasn't either. Plus the whole system pretty much runs automatically by itself. It was a good idea.

You should probably talk to Baddog about how automatically it ran.. and how much support it required. :winkwink:

So what's the scoop Baddog? Was it self-sustaining and fun to run? :warning

Probably. Bad automation can cause such problems, lazy coders. I don't know how well organized contentlotto was. I remember most questions were asked on forums and answered by mods or fellow users. A reward system (as most adult boards have) could stimulate this kind of service. For the rest, coin system exchange for banner imps, full site ads, (hopefully sponsors will be trustwirthy enough and pay out automatically) is all automagical.

I only made it look self-sustaining. Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues that were out of my hands which was one reason why I left and ventured out on my own.

The experience was invaluable however, and I met a lot of people and got a lot of exposure for myself as a result, so while it may have been a lot of work, it was time well spent.
