How much do you pay on Dedicated server?
 

im paying $50.00 per 25 GB on a dedicated server and my monthly bill is close to $1200/mth and the server goes down maybe once/year.Does this sound fair or should i shop around for better prices.

No, this does not sound fair. Yes, you should be shopping around. In fact, I havent seen prices this high for quite some time. You could probably print out the listings from a webhost directory, tack them to the wall, throw a dart and come up with a price that is at least half of what you are paying now.

Downtime "maybe" once a year? You're paying for uptime and reliability then, not bandwidth. Most adult hosts that will spam this thread claiming they can do 10x cheaper will have multiple downtimes per month.

Yes, exactly. My host has an outage every three months or so and they are overdue for thier "quarterly fuckup" by about four months now and I pay more than ten times less than he does and I get about ten times more bandwidth. The features to outages to price ratio is just way screwed up for this poor guy.
