you'll need a separate program to actually remove the opt-outs, and then bring that edited list back into your mailing software

Not with Send Studio...the opt out is automated -- you just have to add the opt-out script to a page and link it in your mailing.

You should look into using BigHip. Good company to deal with.

you could also use 12all. i cant think of the link right now but it works ok, not recommended for a very large list unless you change the sending function.
